About Banu
Banu Kabakulak is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at İstanbul Bilgi University, İstanbul, Türkiye since 2019. She received her double major B.Sc. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics from Boğaziçi University, İstanbul, Türkiye, in 2007 and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University, in 2010 and 2018 respectively. Her research interests include IoT networks, telecommunications, large scale optimization, mathematical programming, artificial intelligence and unmanned intelligent swarm systems. Her researches have been published in top-ranked journals such as Ad Hoc Networks, Networks, IISE Transactions and Journal of Global Optimization. She is the recipient of Operations Engineering & Analytics Best Application Paper Award 2020 given by IISE Transactions Journal.
